slash and izzy 's amp settings?

hi, can anyone tell me how to get the same sound slash and izzy have in appetite for destruction?

If you wana sound like slash buy a marshall, a gibson and seymour duncan pickups!

I wanted to know the amp settings slash and Izzy use, I already have a marshall.

Well they vary greatly from song to song, for slash at least anyway. Slash has a very natural tone so to sound like him just use a gibson guitar. He also uses a Boss EQ boost for solos.
Also for songs like "sweet child o mine" he uses his jim dunlop Wah pedal as filter for extra pop. You do this by pressing the pedal on but leaving is still at the treble position.
