Blues Breakers Early Era Clapton Style

Eric Clapton was in the Blues Breakers early in his career. He used a Les Paul & Marshall combo with aggressive pentatonic blues licks & riffs inspired by & based on early blues artists, but with more attitude, energy & volume. This example is typical of that era with a twelve-bar blues shuffle in G.

I will play the melody/solo once and then play in once more with some variation to give you an idea of how to take these ideas and morph them into your own playing.
