Now let's take a look at some easy ways to practice and develop your power chords. Some of the exercises are similar to the ones we covered for the barre chords, but left hand muting is a much bigger task when it comes to power chords so we will focus on that as well.
Hi, I just want to confirm with you that we do have to play the muted strings in power chords right? It's not only to avoid them? Thanks

Hello - thanks for your question! You do not have to play the muted strings. Those strings are muted so that if you do happen to hit those strings with your strum, they won't ring out and ruin the chord. But in general, you'll want to focus your strum on the fretted strings only. Hope this helps!
