Blue's level two is still patient work for me. I'll watch a lesson and spend about four days working on the new licks. Every time I pick up my guitar, I practice all the lead stuff I have been learning. Some lessons feel okay to skip, like bending up three whole steps. My guitar isn't set up for that. It's set up for Metal, so my strings are a bit heavier than normal, and my action is different. So, my string tension is tight. I practice the lesson anyway and do full or half-step bends. I'm sure as my technique grows, I'll grow into bending like Albert King. He was so unique and different with his playing.

These lessons have been a great bridge for my time as I get better. What is the "Major Scale" - Lisa McCormick

It's Chapter 2 of some lesson plan, but it's great. I find myself learning more about how the guitar is set up on the strings, and it incorporates my pinky quite a bit. The whole Chapter is great. I worked all the way to "Open Major Scales and Cool Ways to Use Them!" I think I will complete the entire series becuase it is helping me progress and learn.

The other lessons I am working on are Blues Beginner Lead Guitar - Christopher Schlegel

This is cool and progressive of the same lick, but it teaches you how you can move licks within a scale and what bars to move your licks in. It incorporates bending, sliding, and position changing. I'm currently in the G Blues Rhythm & Lead 3: Introduction I like this because I am using information that Lisa has been sharing while learning from Chris as well. It's also still blues, but not as hard as Blues Level Two is for me.

I also have been learning Addicted To Chaos - MEGADETH

It's deep and depressing. I kind of regret learning it becuase it hits me in my feels.

I just about got the whole song down and plan on posting a video of it next week. I'm skipping solos still as I level up as a guitarist. I'll try to use my GT-001 and some software to record it so it looks great and sounds cleaner than using my phone.

If you all get stuck, surf the site and try to find something slightly challenging to learn and keep progressing! Don't give up!

Thanks for reading, and be safe.
