Pentatonic major with the root note on the high position of what is typically called the first "box".

You can literally see the chord shape in the box.
But that only shows you the available notes. Then you have to make music with it. This tutorial covers how to play lead licks using CAGED.

Yes, you can do that. The second pentatonic box pattern works well with visualizing and playing the notes of the E barre chord shape.

Again, notice that you can literally see the chord tones in the pattern.
