Hi Mike on stray cat blues by The Rolling Stones what year and model is that Ibanez semihollow body, Guitar, and the other Ibanez guitar you play on the B.B. King song Every day I have the blues and which one would you recommend to buy?

Hello - thanks for your question! The Ibanez I used on Stray Cat Blues is an "Ibanez ASV73VAL ASV Artcore Vintage - Vintage Amber Burst Low Gloss" and it would be a 2020 or 2021 model (not sure which). I like the guitar - it plays really well, but could sound better with some higher quality pickups installed. That said, it is great value for the price.
The Ibanez from the BB King song was just a guitar that was kicking around the studio for awhile, so unfortunately, I have no idea what model it was. It might have been a more expensive model because I remember it sounded pretty good in addition to playing great.
