If you are into transcribing music, I have not seen a better tool than Soundslice.com, and it is incredibly affordable for what it does ($5/month).
I started using it last month and this beats spreadsheets or any other tool I had been using (including note pads) for transcribing.
The beauty is that it allows the user to attach an audio file or YouTube video, allowing play back, which can be slowed and looped to your tabs.
