I know this may seem a stupid post to a lot of people since U2 aren't classed as a real rock band since Edge doesn't use long solo's and ****, but U2's crowning acheivement, Achtung Baby, is a lot more disturbing and ambient than people would believe. I personally think Achtung Baby is the best album of all time. But I bet ya 75% of the people who listen to that album didn't know that the album is ultimatly about sinful sex and depression. The best rock track on the album, Until The End of The World is about Jesus and Judas having male orgy sex. It's a pretty disturbing song when you think about it, but a lot of people don't give it a chance because of the rep U2 get from magazines like NME and other "real rock magazines". I don't have anything against bands like Nirvana and GnR, but I really wish those fans would give bands like U2 a chance because they are a really good band, even if they have made eqaully **** stuff before.

And to go in to a sub topic, was anyone else kinda disappointed at Radiohead's OK Computer? I mean, yeah, its a great album, but it's hardly gonna change my life like a lot of people said it would. Sorry for ramblin and sorry if I bored you. Just needed to say something
