In practicing "Nadine" this morning, it came to me that "wow, what a great way to practice hand stretches" and hand strength.

These are great resources, thank you! It's always a good idea to practice some finger workouts so you can build strength and agility!

If you want a really difficult stretching exercise then check this song out, Every breath you take from the police, https://www.guitartricks.com/lesson.php?input=15642&s_id=1093

Although the instructor playes it different from Andy Summers, Andy shifts his index finger between the 6th and 3rd string for the first 2 chords but still a big challenge.

That is a fantastic song to get your hand in shape. I was surprised I could actually pull off the stretch from teh 1st to the 5th fret, no strength, but that is ok, that comes in time.

tks

Appreciate the feedback Rich, glad to know these little vids are helping beginners like us, which is why I put them up.

I think you will enjoy it. I just finished my morning practice and I think I will keep that song as my morning warm up for awhle - until I get bored of it I guess. I find it really gives me a good workout. I just moved up to playing it through at the 75% tempo mark.

Best of luck,

William
