Hello from North Texas

I played guitar in bands during high school and college. I quit for many years and started playing in a band again 3 years ago. I learned to read music by playing trombone in jr high and high school band but have never had any guitar lessons. I used to learn from just listening and studying chord books.
I love GuitarTricks.com for learning some things that I never quite figured out back in the day and also for learning new songs and techniques from professionals. It's opened my eyes and ears to new ideas and better ways (and in many instances much more accurate ways) to play the songs I love!
