I am looking for a practice tool I can use at the office to work on scales and chords "quietly". I am considering a product called POCKETSTRINGS and I was wondering if anybody has any experience with this product.

I've also thought about buying pocketstrings.
My main concern is that I heard you don't tune it. Even though it is quiet, I would still like it to be in tune.
Maybe I'm wrong, but if that's true, I wouldn't use it.

Looks like they have two different models: One for scales and one for chords. http://www.pocketstrings.com/models

Though I would think the scales version would be better since you can also practice chords on it.

For $30 might be worth a shot.

Quiet is in tune with quiet..
IMO just find you an acoustic beater.. At least it would make some kind of music..
$30 to build calluses that you will do in 2 or 3 weeks of regular practice.. Plus you can hear if you are making clean chord and notes

I also use the shred neck. Sometimes when watching tv, I will use it to practice chord changes that are giving me trouble. Got it on Amazon - there are several models - some are modeled on electric guitar and some are modeled on acoustic guitar. I find it helpful.
