hey, I have a boss mt-2 metal zone pedal for my guitar and I need help getting it to sound like my favorite band "Three Days Grace".

I have the tab books for all of their songs so if someone could give me the settings for the metal zone pedal for some of their songs, that would be cool.

song's of TDG I like to play:

"Animal I have Become"
"Pain"
"Burn"
"Home"
"Just Like You"
"Get Out Alive"
and
"Riot"

Please help me.

I saw that before, and it didn't help me. I can figure out most of the songs now, but i don't know how to get it to sound like the song "Burn" by Three Days Grace.

Can someone please find out the settings, thanks.

the mt-2 won't sound like the song burn no matter how you try.im not sure why but to achieve the other sounds on your list just make sure their isn't too much treble.their sound doesn't have a lot of treble, but the mt-2 has the tendancy to make you turn the the treble up, also lay back on the "mid" knob this should bring you closer to that sound.

I'm sorry i can't help you with the burn tone it's messed up.

Sorry but I never heard of that band but no matter what you do you won't ever get a tone the same as what you hear on a record - even if you use the same guitar and amp/rig. You have to remember that after a trazck is recorded there are about 10 to twently plug-ins added on to enhance the tone plus the fact that most tones are run through extensive outboard gear (compressors, eventide units etc).
Anyway, without having a clue about that particular band, my advice to getting the most out of the Metalzone pedal is to keep the distortion low (from about 50% to 65%). It's a total misconception that you get a heavier tone by cranking your gain to '11'. The lower the gain the heavier and more articulate the tone, it also healp to lose the muddy interference and the fizz that you get when multi-tracking many distorted guitars. Hope that helps somehow.
Off point again but here is a cool link to a guide on using Boss pdeals - lots of tone settings and good explainations on how the various effects work together.

Is there a website where I can do the same thing with my Rockson DS-30 distortion pedal?

that demo was just for boss pedals on the boss website, their would have to be a demo of the pedal on the Rockson website or wherever that pedal is found.
