How easy or difficult do you consider the Tesla "love song" intro? I think it sounds difficult and great.

Thanks

8-9 years of playing, and I don't think it sounds too difficult

So does it not "sound" difficult, or because you know how to play you know its not difficult? :)

Well there's a few vids on youtube which should give you a pretty good idea of what's required to play the song. We're talking a few fingerpicking techniques, barre chords and a sense of rhythm.

On the whole I wouldn't consider it impossible for a beginner guitarist. When I started out I tried to learn things similar to this, but each song took me a lot of work to get down.

yeah that makes sense. When I printed the tab I was surprised at how simple it seemed. By no means meaning that I could play it. It just (to me) sounds so good.

Provided you have the patience, you can do more or less anything.... just take it a bar at a time, even if you can't play it very well, you'll still learn something. It might take you longer to learn, but just 'cos you're a beginner doesn't mean you can't acheive these things....

Give it a couple of hours a bar at a time and let us know how you go...

It does not SOUND difficult, but because I don't care for 80's glam-rock that much I probably won't be trying to figure out exactly how to play it anytime.

Modern day cowboy would be a better song to play.

I thought everyone loved 80s glam rock. :) Yeah I am taking it a little bit at a time. I'll learn even if it takes a while.

Mav,
Yeah I think it has a good sound. For now I am working on "Come as You Are"
by Nirvana. It seems simple enough and yet challenging for a beginner.

Havent tried it yet..... I will have to add it to my list ... good song. As corny as it sounds I been working on Iorn man solo. Never really cared for it in the past but lately been enjoying the hell out of it.
