By the way, what is that keyboard thingy - you know, the one where you wear it like a guitar, work the keys with your right hand while hoisting/balancing with your left - actually called? I've always wondered.
The other question is: why? Was it so that they could strut around on stage like the guitarists and not be stuck in a chair behind a bunch of equipment like the drummer?

i believe its called a keytar. hard to find nowadays. and yeah, its just for looks on stage basically. you only can play with one hand, and you have to learn how to play it in that postion. its also heavy. buuuutt, you can walk around and look cool with it. :cool:
