I own a Jackson DKMG. I like Jackson but hate the HZ pickups that are in most of their guitars. So I put a ZAKK WYLDE EMG set in mine. It's the 81\85 set. I also put a tremsetter on it and I think it's a damn sweet guitar. I also recently purchased a Schecter C-1 Blackjack. I think they too make a fine guitar. My Schecter is SWEEEEEET! My very first guitar was an Ibanez GAX70. For me, the guitar was neck heavy, the string spacing was tight but other than that it had a good tone. It's all personal preferance really.
