A freind of mine had a little Marshall like that with an 8" speaker in it.I din't like it thought it was tinny and buzzy.The MG30 would be my choice for a practice amp on a budget the Marshalls sound retty good with a 10" speaker.I've been using a Park G25R(park equaivilant to an MG30)for practice(and some gigs too) for almost 10 yrs and its always sounded good for what it was.Use it as back up for my stack at shows.
