a 6-string neck is not made for the much higher tension of those strings. what you are attempting is to construct a baritone guitar. but those baritones have a longer scale and a neck that is built for higher tension.
its as if you were attemting to put bass-strings on a regular guitar - the neck will either snap or bend. NO GOOD
