Nice amp. You should be able to get some great stuff out of that. Anders made a video about amp set up a while back, link below. The only thing I would add is that tone is also controlled by your guitar. The volume will effect break up, when and how much and the tone knob can really create a fat sound. Pickups also play a big part if you are trying to sound like someone. As does tuning. I set up a guitar with EMG Zakk Wylde pickups and after playing around with amp settings I could come close to something I liked, but then realized I would get a whole lot closer if I had remembered to tune my guitar down a full step. So now I have a patch I can use in my amp for when I play Suicide Messiah. I am sure your amp will allow you to save your own patches once you create them.


So there is a lot to it, but it is great fun to mess around and come up with tones you like for when you play different styles.
