Hey everyone. I could use some advice here. My friend owns a Fender Standard Strat (Mexican), and he doesn't like the sound he's getting. He has another cheap guitar (Vantage) and it's a humbucker guitar, and he loves the tone it gives him. The only problem is that he doesn't like the guitar, since certain frets buzz, etc.

Anyways, he wants to install a humbucker pickup in the bridge position of his Strat. Does anyone have any suggestions? Could he do this himself, or should he go to a tech?
