So based upon the info you provided, you are probably 27ish, spent a wad of cash on a very nice guitar and thought this was going to be easy.

It's not. However, maybe in a few decades you will be at a place were all this makes sense and you can enjoy the guitar and learning.

Took me from 17 to 55 to figure it out, you will too. I still have the guitar I bought when I was 17 btw, so don't sell your guitar.

I might be dead and gone by the time you get to enjoy the guitar so my advice is to relax and best of luck.
