what i mean is, the twangy sound doesnt just come at you in a realistic country manner unless you are going for the country tone. There are several levels of twang, but by turning the bass low and treble up, and using the bridge pickup, that stuff will help, but you wont get the twang just by doing that. learn some country songs, like Mama Tried or something.
