There are many guitar teachers out there ( who will charge you a whole lot more per year of lessons, than GT), but how many have a path of progress set out for you? How many can actually teach? Most think that just because they can play the guitar, that this qualifies them to become teachers. But where is the structure and goal in their teaching?
How often can you ask your face to face teacher to repeat something for you, before you will feel too embarrassed and then struggle along in the hope that you will 'get it' eventually? With GT this is not an issue. You can replay the video or sections of the video until the proverbial cows come home, or you finally 'get it'. You will feel free to do so because nobody cares how often you replay that video, and you need not feel like a dummo.
How often will you have to cancel your face to face guitar teaching lesson because life happens to interfere? With GT it's no problem. Pick up where you left off at any time that suits you.
You just can't beat that for convenience and setting yourself up to reach your goals. At what price annually? It's nothing at all compared to what you get for it. How valuable is it to you to play your guitar well? You do the calculations.
This is the cheapest hobby I have and love it so much that I'd rather do nothing else :D
