[FONT=Comic Sans MS] Was thinking about taking private lessons, I not only struggled with the price, but with finding a quality instructor that was a good fit for me. When GuitarTricks offered a year membership for $99.00, I jumped on the deal, and thought I would give it a shot. Best $99.00 I spent all year! Where else can I get quality instruction and convenience at this price?

Benefits:
~ Qualified, professional instructors (Have not found one yet I do not like; some are more clear and precise than others, however. Am guessing this must have to do with the various levels of instruction.)
~ Sound foundational, theory-based instruction
~ Multiple instructors (Love the different personalities; never get bored!)
~ Diversity in teaching and playing styles
~ Instruction across genres!
~ Multi-levels of instruction
~ Can play video lessons over and over again
~ The practice drills are great!
~ Playing along with great musicians makes us better guitarists!
~ Even the beginning courses are never boring (The more I learn, the more I learn I have a lot more to learn and polish!)

Before I started with GuitarTricks I was at a standstill with my playing. Am basically self-taught, but needed encouragement and the confidence to push myself, and explore new territories. Once enrolled, didn't take me long to gain my enthusiasm back for learning guitar. I had not had this enthusiasm for guitar since way back in high school because I did not have the confidence to push myself further. Am now ready to polish up my skills and take my playing to the next level! Problem is, hardly know where to start, because I want to learn it all NOW! Right now I am at the exploring stage, but also taking the time to focus on the core fundamentals and fingerpicking style and strumming skills, since those skills will best benefit me in the short-term. Later on, plan to dig into the rest, especially country, classical, and blues!

Keep up the good work!
