Is it worth a beginner having a high end guitar?

I would not get a Floyd Rose system on your first guitar. Save that for your intermediate to advanced skills. You can buy an Epiphone Les Paul for much less than $700 and they are excellent guitars. Save your money for the high end guitars when you learn how to play at a higher level. Learning fundamentals on a $2,000 guitar is nice but money saved could go towards more lessons or a nice amp.

A note on Floyd Rose. They are designed for staying in tune and they will stay tuned, if you adjust balance on the tension. Use the same kind of strings, don't change gauges and brands. The balance on the tension is adjusted with the screws holding the bottom of the tremelo underneath the guitar. Balance it so the bridge on the tremelo is flat when the arm bar is not being used.

Agree, but mine didn't cost that much and so I jumped on the $670 bargain :D and I wasn't going to argue with the Floyd Rose being in it.

Lesson being: if you are a beginner and Lady Luck strikes you with a $2000 guitar for a bargain price, then you better grab that opportunity. You can learn the intricacies later, which I'm doing now.
