I haven't seen that....are you using the flash version or the down-loadable program. If you use the latter, you have some control over "quality" that might help.

As for accenting the 2 and 4 beats....you can set it for 2 BPM, and then count it as 4 beats per measure starting the count of 1 on the off beat. That is basically the same as accenting the 2nd and 4th beat.
