I would say that it's a question of just trying it out. You're right. It's a beautiful guitar! Gretsch's are notoriously big and heavy guitars but I would never hint that it would be too much for anyone to play.

I've been eye-balling a Gretsch for some time now and when I go for the next one it'll either be a Gretsch or a Strat.
