Hey Rick, I've used both pickups and I have a guitar with the Fender SCN on them now. They're ok. For stock pickups they're quite good! I think I prefer the Lace pickups, because they sound more like a true single coil, but it's been a while since I played with the Lace Sensors though. To be honest, I prefer normal single coils to noiseless pickups altogether. There's something more than hum that's lacking in noiseless pickups; they lose some of their sweetness or something.

As for the Vintage noiseless, well, I don't like them much, but plenty of others do. You'll really have to play these pickups and make up your own mind. It's very difficult to quantify their sounds and appeal in a typed message.

By the way, if you're set on buying noiseless pickups, Kinmans are quite good for that kinda thing. I've owned those as well and they're very good, although they don't sound truly single coil-ish either.
