Thanks, Tonja! I grew up in Ontario, where it seems to be a lot easier to find things that come from somewhere else. I developed a liking for 'chicken bone' candy when I was a kid, never suspecting that was another East Coast thing that I couldn't get out here. My ex sends me a big bag a couple times a year. And any time I get down east, I pig out on fresh curd. That doesn't seem to exist out here. On the rare occaisions that I find it, it has been refridgerated, which turns it into tasteless waxy, glop! Alberta is not exactly cosmopolitan about acquiring things from anywhere else. But hey, the scenery is freakin' amazing! :)
