Well I tried it with and without chorus. Without chorus it still had a similar sound, but with a light chorus it sounded much more like the sample. Not too much, just enough to thicken up the tone a bit. Light chorus, high up the neck, vibrato. That's my answer. *exhausted* :D

EDIT: Oh yeah, wah and chorus aren't the same. You should check out some kind of chorus effect and experiment with it to try and get the sound you want.
