Saw them in late December in Chicago... crazy stuff!!! I initially went to see one of my favorite acts to see... Keller Williams. He was headlining for UM. I've been a listener of their music for a long time but I'm officially a fan after seeing them live... If you're talking about jam bands... what about The Allman Brothers Band... in the 70's they were as solid as they came. I guess I'll mention the Dave Matthews Band since we're on jam bands and they're arguably the most popular... each artist in that group are incredible musicians in their own right... I always love it when Dave and Trey get on stage together...

And the guy that mentioned Coheed and Cambria... I've been listening to them quite a bit the last couple years too. They're a solid band. I don't think any modern "mainstream" rock band will ever be able to compete for "most talented band ever"... because you don't have to be talented to create music that is popular and marketable...
