I've just bought some of these . They really do almost eliminate plectrum noise and are very comfortable to use.

The downside is that you lose a degree of attack although it's not nearly as bad as you'd imagine. They work very well for mellow playing and solos.

A bit expensive but I'd recommend them nonetheless.
