No,but it seems we have tapped the extent of 'applicable' and 'practical' technology...Flight wasn't anything new 500 years ago,it just had not been attempted succesfully..we just learned to apply its science and incorporate it into our daily lives...its nothing astounding.

We are all stuck in each others red tape now and things are advancing way too slow.The progress of nanomachines is taking way too long for example.Where is the momentum?
