Well I have the over rated Pod pro and think it is wonderful, there is nothing that I can't do with it.

1) what are you playing through it
(i.e. a crappy guitar will still sound crappy, and crappy cables will still sink your tone)

2) did you read the manual ?

3) what are you running it through (don't say your mothers stereo) ?
